FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Which naval systems does Benzz Technologies offer?
INDUS ROV, JERRY ROV, a remote-controlled sub-surface platform, a towable light and camera system, deep-sea LED lighting, and underwater connectors and glands.
What is the difference between an ROV and a towed camera system?
An ROV is piloted and can hover, turn and hold position to inspect a specific structure. A towed camera system is pulled behind a vessel or lowered by winch, which suits continuous visual coverage of a long seabed stretch.
Should I choose INDUS ROV or JERRY ROV?
Choose JERRY for shallow, confined work up to 100 m where a light, portable unit helps. Choose INDUS for deeper work, longer tethers and extra payloads such as sonar, positioning or a manipulator.
Can Benzz systems be configured for a specific mission?
Yes. INDUS depth and tether can be extended and payloads added, deep-sea lights come in four outputs, and the towable system comes in 200 m, 500 m and 1,000 m configurations.
Do defence products need approvals before supply?
Some Benzz products are intended for defence and government use. Supply depends on applicable licences, end-user verification and approvals under Indian law.
